Where do I start?!

You’ve decided you want to take the big certification step in Histology? Great! We are here for you every step of the way!

Where do I start?

    1. Select What Exam You Are Going to Take and what Qualifications you need to take the Exam.
    2. Look over the Content Guide for the exam (posted for you below!).
    3. Apply for the Exam: This process is notoriously long. It can take up to 45 BUSINESS DAYS to review and approve. Once approved you have a time window to set your test date. It is our recommendation that you apply as soon as possible.
    4. Collect Study Materials: Below are links to the recommended books and materials. Feel free to also utilize HistologyOutlines.com in your studying.
    5. Create A Study Schedule. Make a week by week set of goals and stick to it.
    6. Form Study Groups: There are so many options for this. You can form a group at school, work, or utilize any of the number of histology web based groups listed here:
    7. Review often: Cramming and other forms of studying are not recommended. These exams cover a diverse range of material that at some point could become relevant to your career. We recommend a consistent study schedule and the use of spaced repetition tools ( such as flash cards or Anki).
