Where do I start?!
You’ve decided you want to take the big certification step in Histology? Great! We are here for you every step of the way!
Where do I start?
- Select What Exam You Are Going to Take and what Qualifications you need to take the Exam.
- Look over the Content Guide for the exam (posted for you below!).
- Apply for the Exam: This process is notoriously long. It can take up to 45 BUSINESS DAYS to review and approve. Once approved you have a time window to set your test date. It is our recommendation that you apply as soon as possible.
- Collect Study Materials: Below are links to the recommended books and materials. Feel free to also utilize HistologyOutlines.com in your studying.
- Create A Study Schedule. Make a week by week set of goals and stick to it.
- Form Study Groups: There are so many options for this. You can form a group at school, work, or utilize any of the number of histology web based groups listed here:
- Review often: Cramming and other forms of studying are not recommended. These exams cover a diverse range of material that at some point could become relevant to your career. We recommend a consistent study schedule and the use of spaced repetition tools ( such as flash cards or Anki).
